Nat King Cole began as a jazz pianist and became a much-loved interpreter of songs, with “Unforgettable” among his signature recordings. His voice is closely associated with “The Christmas Song”, better known to many by its opening mention of chestnuts. It’s an unhurried seasonal welcome, delivered with warmth rather than a need to shout.
Show Lyrics — Joy To The World
Joy to the world! The Lord is come. Let earth receive her King Let every heart Prepare Him room And heaven and nature sing And heaven and nature sing And heaven and heaven and nature sing Joy to the world, the Savior reigns Let men their songs employ While fields and floods Rocks, hills and plains Repeat the sounding joy Repeat the sounding joy Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy He rules the world with truth and grace, And makes the nations prove The glories of His righteousness, And wonders of His love; And wonders of His love; And wonders, wonders of His love. Joy to the world! The Lord is come. Let earth receive her King Let every heart Prepare Him room And heaven and nature sing And heaven and nature sing And heaven and heaven and nature sing And heaven and heaven and nature sing
